Children’s Health Insurance Program: Advisory Council Meeting
The Pennsylvania Insurance Department (Department) has scheduled a meeting of the Children’s Health Insurance Program Advisory Council (Council) on Thursday, December 17, 2009, at 1:30 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Harrisburg Hotel, Ballroom ABC, at 23 South 2nd Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101. The Children’s Health Care Act (40 P.S. 991.2301—991.2361) charges the Council with the responsibilities of overseeing outreach activities and evaluating access and quality of service provided to children enrolled in CHIP. The public is invited to attend. Persons who need accommodations due to a disability who wish to attend the meeting should contact Kirk Montrose, Pennsylvania Insurance Department, 1300 Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, PA 17120 or (717) 214-4781, at least 24 hours in advance so that arrangements can be made.
